The Linlithgow & Linlithgow Bridge Children's Gala Day is held on the Saturday following the Linlithgow Marches in June each year. The ceremonies begin with a procession of the Queen's retinue and local children's organisations from Linlithgow Bridge to The Peel. The crowning ceremonies take place on the Peel below Linlithgow Palace. The Gala Day Queen attends many local events through the year of her reign as an ambassador of the children of Linlithgow and Linlithgow Bridge.
